Tiny humans and a fluffy cow

Tiny humans. One very fluffy cow. Absolute magical chaos

These mini-sessions with Waffles, the mini Highland cow from Meyer Mini Farms, were equal parts unpredictable and unforgettable. Littles tend not to sit still or could be crying or laughing, cows who are literally created to eat grass and not pose perfectly, and right in between the wiggles, snack bribes, and hungry cow moments—genuine cuteness you couldn’t pose if you tried.

Proof that perfection is overrated—and the real magic lives in the fun, chaotic moments, and I just can’t get enough of this cuteness! See some favorites from each session:

Baby Joey

This sweet family has been clients of mine for years, and the last time I saw them was when their second kiddo was a newborn! How fun to capture these special moments for all their babies. Love having forever clients!

Tulip Trail at Eckerts

Sometimes you just gotta dance. These kiddos are my whole world ❤️

Daffodils

Keith and Katie, and their girls, are cousins on my husband’s family’s side, and I was so delighted they asked me to shoot their family session. It took a couple of different tries, rescheduled due to weather issues, but the weather finally cooperated on our 3rd try! I got so lucky with finding this beautiful little patch of daffodils to do these family photos in, too. Please enjoy a few of my favorites from this session.

I’m FIFTY! FIFTY, FIFTY, FIFTY

She likes to stretch, kick, and stretch…and look fiftylicious and ultra fabulous. We had so much fun doing this special session for my SISTER who I love so very much! She’s one of my favorite people in the whole world and has taught me so much. Her big fiftieth birthday party will be SNL-themed and I can’t wait.

My sweet new nephew

I absolutely love photographing babies and I love photographing my family even more! Check out these newborn photos of my new nephew Oliver. He was a wiggler, but once he got settled he was out like a light. We had to do a photo of him on his name blanket just like his older brother and sister too.

Rainbow pastel one year old cake smash!

A team effort with the parents of this sweet girl to create this gorgeous setup for this cake smash session. I rented a local studio off Historic Main Street in St. Charles, MO and set up the balloon arch and cake. The birthday girl quickly dug into her cake made by her mom. It was so hard to narrow these down! The photos turned out so great. Happy first birthday to this girly!

Look what Santa brought!

Santa left the sweetest present under the tree for this family this year. Baylor was born about a month ago, but we were able to some special newborn shots just in time for Christmas!

This little man was so funny, he wanted to keep his hat over his eyes. He would nuzzle up into the hat until it was over his eyes - so cute and so funny! He slept almost the entire time too. These two were born for the camera. Thank you to this family for letting me capture these amazing kiddos of theirs.
