Mama + Me sneak peek

This was a quick, sweet session with Mary, her mama, and her grandma. Mary was a bit contrary and did not want anything to do with me or my camera - it was a challenge, but I think I got some really cute ones, and I had fun trying to snap the pictures quickly or when she wasn’t paying attention. Congratulations to this mama and soon-to-be big sister!

Bay family favorites

Can’t believe I started photographing these two when they got engaged, and now they have the sweetest toddler who completely steals the show.

One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is getting to watch families grow through every season of life. And honestly? Toddler sessions are some of my absolute favorites. There’s no pressure for perfect posing — it’s all about running around, playing peekaboo, giggling nonstop, and capturing those real little moments in between.

The belly laughs, tiny hands reaching up, swinging through the air, and the pure joy toddlers bring always make these sessions feel so perfect. These are the moments parents never want to forget, and I’m so grateful I get to freeze them in time.

Haggert extended family sneak peek

Here’s a sneak peek into the gallery from the Haggerty extended family session. We met at Laumeier Sculpture Park, and there were so many beautiful spots for photos that it was hard to choose! I’m still getting back into the rhythm of selecting the very best locations for light, but depending on the sun’s position—and how the subject is placed in relation to it—you can create so much variety in the way your images look.

Photos with Waffles in May

I had so much fun meeting new people and seeing familiar faces in these sessions. It was a gorgeous evening, even though there was the threat of rain. The clouds ended up delivering the most beautiful sunset and golden lighting.

Tiny humans and a fluffy cow

Tiny humans. One very fluffy cow. Absolute magical chaos

These mini-sessions with Waffles, the mini Highland cow from Meyer Mini Farms, were equal parts unpredictable and unforgettable. Littles tend not to sit still or could be crying or laughing, cows who are literally created to eat grass and not pose perfectly, and right in between the wiggles, snack bribes, and hungry cow moments—genuine cuteness you couldn’t pose if you tried.

Proof that perfection is overrated—and the real magic lives in the fun, chaotic moments, and I just can’t get enough of this cuteness! See some favorites from each session:

Daffodils

Keith and Katie, and their girls, are cousins on my husband’s family’s side, and I was so delighted they asked me to shoot their family session. It took a couple of different tries, rescheduled due to weather issues, but the weather finally cooperated on our 3rd try! I got so lucky with finding this beautiful little patch of daffodils to do these family photos in, too. Please enjoy a few of my favorites from this session.

Spring session with these cuties

Cannot get enough of these cheeks! Little man did not warm up much to me, but boy, does he sure love his big sister. Sibling love like this is the sweetest. Kids are the best.

Getting to know Waffles

A few days ago, I took my babies to meet Waffles and take some photos to promote some upcoming spring mini sessions! I have to share some favorites from the session. My sister, Rachel, came along to help and got her picture with Waffles, too!

My sweet new nephew

I absolutely love photographing babies and I love photographing my family even more! Check out these newborn photos of my new nephew Oliver. He was a wiggler, but once he got settled he was out like a light. We had to do a photo of him on his name blanket just like his older brother and sister too.

This cowboy turned one year old

Weston turned one year old! He wasn’t so sure about getting his photo taken or the lady trying to make him smile behind the camera, but eventually he warmed up and he smiled at the crazy lady (aka me). Happy Birthday Weston!

Winter family session

We had perfect weather for this winter family session. Right before Christmas on the 23rd, we went out to Queeny Park in Ballwin, MO and had a quick fun photo session for the Powers family. The sun kept peeking out behind the clouds and was a beautiful day!

Look what Santa brought!

Santa left the sweetest present under the tree for this family this year. Baylor was born about a month ago, but we were able to some special newborn shots just in time for Christmas!

This little man was so funny, he wanted to keep his hat over his eyes. He would nuzzle up into the hat until it was over his eyes - so cute and so funny! He slept almost the entire time too. These two were born for the camera. Thank you to this family for letting me capture these amazing kiddos of theirs.

2025 Fall Minis with the Kiley Family

This cutie and his mommy and daddy were the sweetest! I would say “ok cheese!” and this little dude would do this super cute smile and close his eyes tight. Such a sweetie and such a fun age.
