A ten minute mini photo session in the studio = Romantic and sweet timeless keepsakes to last for years. I asked this couple to dance like they did on their wedding day and we got some great candid shots!
A team effort with the parents of this sweet girl to create this gorgeous setup for this cake smash session. I rented a local studio off Historic Main Street in St. Charles, MO and set up the balloon arch and cake. The birthday girl quickly dug into her cake made by her mom. It was so hard to narrow these down! The photos turned out so great. Happy first birthday to this girly!
We had perfect weather for this winter family session. Right before Christmas on the 23rd, we went out to Queeny Park in Ballwin, MO and had a quick fun photo session for the Powers family. The sun kept peeking out behind the clouds and was a beautiful day!
Santa left the sweetest present under the tree for this family this year. Baylor was born about a month ago, but we were able to some special newborn shots just in time for Christmas!
This little man was so funny, he wanted to keep his hat over his eyes. He would nuzzle up into the hat until it was over his eyes - so cute and so funny! He slept almost the entire time too. These two were born for the camera. Thank you to this family for letting me capture these amazing kiddos of theirs.
This cutie and his mommy and daddy were the sweetest! I would say “ok cheese!” and this little dude would do this super cute smile and close his eyes tight. Such a sweetie and such a fun age.
It has taken way too long for me to post these on my blog, but better late than never! I had a great time photographing all these families. Thank you all for booking your mini session with me.
We ended up sharing these beautiful pines with other families and photographers, too - you’d never guess.
The Miller Family
My wonderful friend and her husband asked me to photograph their lovely family and newest addition. We did a sunset maternity session in a local sunflower field and a lifestyle newborn session in their home. Logan is so loved by his older siblings; look how sweet they are!
Welcome to the world, Casey! I am so honored to have met you this past week. You have wonderful parents and an amazing family who all love you so much, even before birth.
Read moreThis brand new baby girl is here! Meet Harper June with the grooviest nursery you’ve ever seen. I couldn’t stop taking photos of this cutie pie - there were so many fun sentimental things like a family treasured blue baby buggy that was passed down through generations and a special woven basket and more. Check out these favs from session.
Sometimes family photos don’t go quite as you planned because your little ones have a mind of their own! These two kiddos are so adorable and wild. Billy took a bit to get warmed up to the idea to get his photo taken and smile and have fun and his big sister Clara just wanted to run around and be free. That’s OK! Keep in mind that for littles, it’s so strange to have some stranger want them to be still and sit here and smile and take their photo. That’s why I always like to bring in some fun, be silly and try to capture the most genuine moments I can. I think we had a pretty awesome session don’t you think?!
I had so much fun photographing these mini sessions. This is just the first batch of photos. The weather was so unusually warm, but the sessions were as bright and cheerful as ever with all the wonderful smiles and memories made. I ended up rescheduling my Sunday sessions due to the weather being extremely warm so more sessions to come in November! Check out these favs from the weekend.
